1. Full ownership and accountability for design, development, testing and certification of appointed sub-system.
2. Ensure quality of deliverables, on time delivery, design cost, DFMEA, weight and general targets defined by the business related to the sub- system.
3. Ensure sub-system full integrated solution, by analyzing all mechanical and electrical/control interfaces.
4. Providing technical reviews of various onshore and offshore utility-scale wind turbine technologies.
5. Lead wind turbine system or component design, Provide innovative design solutions to deliver world class quality.
6. Identify cost saving.
1. Bachelor' s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university.
2. Very strong engineering experience in Design/Product.
3. Development in the field of mechanical design,minimum of 10+ years' experience in wind turbine development deep understanding of wind turbine.
4. Proven experience in designing components like gears, gearboxes, bearings, bolted joints, brakes, cast components.
5. Experience/knowledge in main recognized design codes, guidelines and standards like IEC, GL, ISO, VDI and EN.
6. Fluent in English, written and spoken.
7. Ability to work with global team members across cultural Boundaries.
8. Knowledge of different manufacturing processes used in structures is a plus.
9. Experience in fatigue analysis，structural dynamics and experimental validation offshore wind experience is a plus.
